Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter we aim to bring everyone together to learn, create and inspire in the comfort of others with no judgement just pure fun and joy.

Our Mission
The Makers Nook UK is a community based organisation providing free and affordable creative services giving people the opportunity to access the arts to help benefit their mental health and well-being as well as tackling social isolation within the community.
Our Vision
To provide a safe space, which will bring the community the opportunity to learn and create through our free/affordable services aimed at those struggling with their mental health, the disabled community, carers, and low-income families.

At The Makers Nook we believe having a creative outlet can do so much for our mental health + well being as well as bringing people together to help tackle social isolation so using our services as a way for people to express their creativity it's important for us to make them as accessible as possible to give everyone the opportunity to benefit from getting creative.
Community is at the heart of what we do. We aim to create a safe creative space online and in person where anyone can come to find some creative joy. Which is why we aim to provide services that are accessible and fun but that are also developed on ideas and interests of the community for the community.
Our organisation is built on the impact being creative can have on our mental health and well-being and the power it can have in bringing people together. Our founders have personally experienced the benefits and we feel it's so important to promote that in what we do and the services we offer to give others the opportunity to benefit from the power of creativity too.
